Exercise Aids.

There are many ways to help you lose weight. Going to the gym, getting a pet or getting exercise equipment.

People that purchase exercise equipment have the will and money to lose weight, but not the determination. within a month most people would stop using the equipment that they purchased and fall back into their old routine.

Another form of exercise aid is exercise videos. these videos offered a cost effective solution to people that cant afford to go to a gym due to time or money. but these videos can gather dust faster than the exercise equipment you bought at 3AM.

Using television sells equipment and can serve as equipment as well. Decades ago people started capitalizing in selling exercise videos.

One of the first major successes was Judi Sheppard Misset with her Jazzercise aerobic dance routines.

Everyone knows who Richard Simmons is.

Richard is everywhere on television and he is widely known as an American fitness personality. He is famous for his Sweatin' to the Oldies line of exercise videos and DVDs.

Check out this example of one of his workout videos

Billy Blanks and Tae Bo popularized cardio-boxing. He mixed martial arts and self defense technics into his workout routines. I believe this was a great success to reel in the male audience into exercise videos.

Exercise while having fun.

Everyone wants to lose weight or get in shape thanks to television and advertising, but not everyone has the determination to keep exercising to get the body they want. If a person is up at 3 AM and turn on the tube, they will most definitely come across countless advertisements for exercise equipment and diet supplements.

In this I will go over old and new ways to help you keep your determination to lose weight.

Gimmicks never work out. Nothing really works better than the one true rule in losing weight: Change your life.

And I don’t mean change your job and where you life. I mean change your daily habits, routine and diet. A diet doesn’t mean eat less. A diet means eat right. Some people eat the right amount of food. Don’t eat greasy fast food as much and if you do, ask for no mayonnaise on that burger. Some people go to fast food chains and order salads while thinking they are being healthier. Eating a salad can be healthier if you use light dressing. Most salads at food chains like McDonalds and D’angelos use excessive amounts of creamy dressing which is extremely fatty.

Making a change in your daily routine can help you burn off all those extra carbs that you ingest. I have friends that eat whatever they feel like and don’t gain any weight because they work out so much. This approach might not be as effective as going on a diet, but they enjoy the freedom. The key to losing weight is to match your calorie count to how active you are, trade off soda for water, and cut back of sweats and desserts.
